Elder's Corner

As the Elders move into this New Year, we are busy with many different elements in the Church. Our most urgent concern is praying for the needs of the Congregation. As the Elders pray and wrestle with decisions that affect the Body, be assured that we have asked for and received a lot of feedback on the many subjects that we do make decisions on. We do not take any decisions lightly. Now, as in the past, we find our-selves spending as much time de-fending our decisions as we do making them. I personally feel that this comes down to trust in the leadership by the Congregation.

Therefore, as the Chairman of the Elders, I personally commit the Elders to building trust within the Congregation towards the Leadership of our Church. Please feel free to approach me or any other Elder with your ideas or concerns. Let’s pull together to make this a year to remember.

The Staff is preparing for the up-coming Leadership Conference. The Elders urge anyone that is interested in leading a ministry or becoming involved with a ministry to come. It will be a great time and should be very informative.
